What experience do I need to become a franchise owner with The Red Chickz?
We seek financially qualified people with ample business and restaurant experience. Franchise owners who have not had previous restaurant experience must have an experienced, trained restaurant manager onsite. More than anything we look for people who love our brand as much as we do, who love the people we serve, and who are in alignment with our vision for growth of The Red Chickz brand as a whole.
What is provided as part of The Red Chickz franchise program?
The Red Chickz will require a minimum of two people, the franchisee and one additional person, to attend and successfully complete a three-week initial training program in Los Angeles. Onsite training at the franchisee’s location will follow for approximately two days — prior to the opening of the business, the day of the opening, and two day following the opening. Remote and onsite support, plus regular follow-up training, are also provided. It’s all designed to help ensure that operators have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to run their businesses effectively. In addition, you will have access to our exclusive confidential operations manual to help run your foodservice franchise properly on a day-to-day basis.
How much will The Red Chickz franchise program cost me?
The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $363,500 to $821,400 per location. This includes a $40,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. (There is a 20% discount for additional units.) As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial growth stages.
Is financing available?
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case by case basis.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
The Red Chickz royalty fee is equal to 6% of total gross sales, and we charge a technology fee of $60 per week for presence on our corporate website and App. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Are there any advertising fees?
The Red Chickz franchise owners will be required to spend a minimum of $10,000 on the grand opening. Franchisees will also contribute 1% of gross sales into the system marketing fund, and 1% or $1,000, whichever is greater, on local marketing. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote The Red Chickz brand.
What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with one subsequent successor agreement options of ten years.
